Digital Humanities Workshop (DHW)
On December 23, 2021, the Digital Humanities Workshop (DHW 2021) was held at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University, Ukraine. Digital Humanities Workshop (DHW) is a peer-reviewed international workshop focusing on applications of digital technologies to the study of the humanities with the recognition that the printed word is no longer the main medium for knowledge production and distribution. Researchers of the Institute of Information Technologies and Learning Tools of the NAES of Ukraine took part and presented results of their issues: O. Ovcharuk, S. Ivanova, I. Mintii, I. Ivaniuk, O. Hrytenchuk, L. Luparenko. The workshop was conducted online using an electronic service Google Meet.

INNOVATION IN MODERN EDUCATION. XIII INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION
October 20-22, 2021.The XIII International Exhibition "Innovation in Modern Education" took place. As part of the event, scientists of the Department of Comparative Information and Educational Innovations of the Institute of Information Technology and Learning Tools of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine held a webinar "Teachers' use of digital tools and ICT in distance learning." The results of research in their speeches were presented by researchers of the department Ovcharuk O., Ivanyuk I., Kravchina O. The webinar was joined by 96 participants from different regions of Ukraine.

A meeting with Head of the Representation of the Institute of International Education in Ukraine
October 19, 2021. Young scientists of the Institute of Information Technologies and Learning Tools of the NAES of Ukraine attended a meeting with Dr. Jessica Zychowicz, Head of the Representation of the Institute of International Education in Ukraine and the office of the Fulbright Ukraine Program - Dr. Jessica Zychowicz. The meeting discussed the opportunities provided by the Fulbright program for young scientists, as well as areas for future collaboration and internationalization of education and science.

All-Ukrainian project “Technology of teaching elementary school students “Rozumnyky” (Smart Kids)”
October 7, 2021. The report of Svitlana Lytvynova, Deputy Director for Science of the Institute of Information Technologies and Learning Tools of the NAES of Ukraine, Senior Researcher, PhS (in Education), Head of the All-Ukrainian project “Technology of teaching elementary school pupils “Rozumnyky” (Smart Kids)” held. The report presented the main results of research and experimental work (stage II of the project), innovative solutions for primary schools and methods of distance learning for primary school children.

YOUNG SCIENTIST OF THE YEAR
On September 29, 2021, in the conference hall of the National Museum of History of Ukraine in the Second World War, the Ceremony of Awarding the winners of the Young Scientist of the Year competition (according to the MES) with statuettes and certificates of the winners took place. Senior Researcher of the Department of Cloud-Oriented Systems of Education Informatization of the Institute of Information Technologies and Learning Tools of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Marienko Maiia Volodymyrivna is the winner of the competition in the nomination: Doctoral Student of the Year in Social Sciences and Humanities.
