On December 21, 2017 the scientific supervisors and responsible executives reported on the implementation of research work, the work of postgraduate study, doctoral studies, specialized scientific council and the Council of Young Scientists of the Institute, approved the issue of the next issue of the electronic scientific professional edition and considered the issues of joint activity with the leading higher education institutions.

On October 20, the solemn meeting of the University's Academic Council held at the Lviv State University of Life Safety, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the institution. On this meeting Vasyl Kremen, President of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Professor, Doctor of Sciences in Philosophy, the academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and NAES of Ukraine was awarded by the Doctor Honoris Causa Diploma of the Lviv State University of Life Safety.

On June 15, 2017 the issue of scientific and scientific and organizational activities of the Institute of Information Technologies and Learning Tools of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine was considered at the meeting of the Presidium of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine. The scientific work of the Institute is aimed at the development of the ICT-oriented platform of national education and the information society, as well as the creation, implementation and use the computerized learning tools and development of modern learning environment. The director of the Institute, doctor of technical sciences, professor, academician of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Valerii Yukhymovych Bykov presented the main achievements of the team of scientists. In particular, he noted the wide scientific and social resonance is received by the Institute which uses of cloud technologies in secondary education and focused on the experimental work of the institute.
