On May 26, 2023, the XI International Scientific and Practical Conference "MoodleMoot Ukraine 2023. The theory and practice of using the Moodle learning management system" was held. This year it ran in the online format.
The topics of the conference covered the main organizational, technical, technological, didactic, and methodological issues of using Moodle LMS in higher education institutions, in the system of training and retraining in the process of lifelong learning, and covered the following content areas:
- experience in implementing and using the Moodle LMS in distance learning and online support of the learning process;
- development of the Moodle LMS, creation and use of new Moodle modules, integration of Moodle with other software;
- organizational, pedagogical, and methodological problems of using the Moodle LMS.

The event, which has already become a tradition for the Ukrainian community of Moodle users, contributes to the establishment and strengthening of cooperation between developers, researchers, and teaching staff in the field of use and improvement of this platform; exchange of positive experiences; discussion and a joint search for solutions to problems related to the introduction of distance learning; further development and introduction of digital technologies in the higher and postgraduate education institutions.
