On January 27, 2022, after hearing the information of Academician-Secretary of the Department of General Secondary Education and Digitalisation of Educational Systems of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine OIeksandr Lyashenko on the need to expand the functions, tasks and activities of the Institute of Information Technology and Learning Tools of the NAES of Ukraine according of trends of digitalisation of society, intensive processes of digital transformation of education and science, guided by Art. 17, 18 of the Law of Ukraine "On Scientific and Scientific-Technical Activity", paragraph 43 of the Statute of the NAES of Ukraine, the decision of the General Meeting of the NAES of Ukraine of November 19, 2021 and taking into account the letter of MES of Ukraine № 1 / 19553-21 of November 11, 2021, the Presidium decided to rename the Institute of Information Technologies and Learning Tools of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine into the Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine.
